In the autumn of 2016, Chris Packham went to Cyprus as part of a team of film makers to document the scale of the indiscriminate killing of migratory birds on the island. Unbelievably, the most intensive levels of this illegal trapping take place on British soil, on the Sovereign Military Base Area of Dhekelia, with 15,000 birds killed every night in the autumn trapping season.
