Passion Planet has a worldwide reputation for its innovative documentary storytelling in science, natural history and specialist factual programming. Working together with Passion Pictures, we pride ourselves on providing a creative home for ambitious projects for both theatrical release and landmark television distribution.

David Allen heads up the team which has over-seen productions ranging from one-off shows like Discovery/BBC's Saba and the Rhino’s Secret, and BBC Natural World titles like Titus; a Gorilla King, The Unnatural History of London, and the multi-award winning  My Life as a Turkey.  David’s recent series EARTH: A New Wild for PBS/Nat Geo, includes five films that crack the difficult task of bringing conservation to commercial landmark television. Further to our TV slate, and tapping into Passion Picture’s Oscar winning experience with theatrical release documentaries, we recently produced Hadwin’s Judgement for CBC and Film Four and are in production on Serengeti Rules, a feature doc in production for HHMI.  Passion is also in production with a high-profile VR film ‘My Africa’ in the Maasai Mara and Kenya’s Northern rangelands, and has set up a media think tank to help communicate critical stories about conservation to a wider audience.
