Wildscreen Festival 2020 goes virtual, BBC Studios supports as Principal Sponsor

Festival will take place online as slated for the 19-23 October, bolstered by new online film screening and content platform from September to December.

Wildscreen, the UK-based not-for-profit conservation organisation behind the biennial Wildscreen Festival, today announces the 20th anniversary edition of the Festival will bring the natural world to the online world this October.

National Geographic & Nat Geo Wild unveil programming slates for 2020-21

National Geographic and Nat Geo Wild has released the slate of natural history and wildlife content scheduled for 2020-21.

To mark Earth Day 2021, Nat Geo will premiere the four-part event series Planet of the Whales from National Geographic photographer Brian Skerry, and Brian Armstrong and Shannon Malone-DeBenedictis of Red Rock Films.

Springwatch Digital 2020 launches ahead of 26 May launch of live shows

You don't have to wait until Springwatch returns to BBC Two on 26 May to get your wildlife fix. The live online wildlife offering launched on Tuesday 19 May, using the latest technology to bring stories from the natural world to audiences across the UK and beyond, in real time.

From Tuesday 19 May, Springwatch digital presenter, Hannah Stitfall, will be on hand throughout the day with breaking news updates, inspiration on what you can do for wildlife from home, and a selection of the very best of the photos and videos that we've been sent.

New Channel 4 series meets some of the British wildlife heroes who have dedicated their lives to saving the world’s most endangered species. 

Weekdays 4pm starting Monday 18 May for 4 weeks.

Work on the Wild Side is a new twenty-part series which follows vets and volunteers who gave up their day jobs in the UK and moved to South Africa to rescue, rehabilitate and release some of the world’s most endangered animals.
